HPR 601 - Rsrch Mthds in Health/Hum Perf(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. An introduction to research methods with a focus on the principles and application of the research process, critically evaluating published research, and appropriate selection, use, and interpretation of statistical tests. Students develop proficiency in using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) computer software for statistical analyses.
