SOC 516 - Sociology of Aging(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal
to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. Critical analysis of the social status and participation of older individuals in modern societies. Includes topics such as theories of aging, demography, family ties, economic status, health care delivery systems and long-term care, dying and death, and the United States as an aging society.
