UST 615 - Economic Dev/Budgetary Policy(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate students, Nondegree graduates ineligible to enroll in 600/700/800 level graduate courses. An overview of national economic policy development, implementation, and impacts. Current issues in political economy and their impact on American national and sub-national governments, including the concept of wealth creation and its manifestations. Concepts are linked to the economic development process at sub-national levels of government; how economic development strategies link to wealth creation in the private and public sectors.
