UST 518 - Public Human Resources Mgmt(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal
to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. The issues and public policies that have an impact on the management of human resources in the public sector. Differences between public and private personnel administration; the American civil service system; recruitment, placement, promotion, training, and compensation; performance assessment; rights and duties of public employees.
