The field of Women’s Studies involves the study of women from the perspective of women themselves, and related research and scholarship. The course is a broadly interdisciplinary examination of the roles of women as they are socially constructed, and as women can determine them to be. There is emphasis upon related changes in their relations in contemporary society.
