ANT 243 - Language and Gender(4 credits)
Students are encouraged to take ANT 100 Human Diversity, or ANT 102 Study of Culture, or ANT 120 Introduction to Language and Linguistics before taking this course, but no prerequisite is assumed or required. This course explores how ways of speaking and ideas about gender are linked within minority and dominant cultures in the U.S. and beyond. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
