ECE 412 - Collaboration With Families In Early Childhood Settings

[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite(s): EDB 241, EDB 242, ECE 300, ECE 341, ECE 342, ECE 401, ECE 402. Minimum GPA of 2.75. Must be admitted into the Early Childhood program. Explores the relationships between early childhood professionals and families, as well as with other professionals. Strategies for communicating and collaborating with others and for fostering home-school connections are examined. History, philosophy, and issues related to collaboration and family involvement, including diversity, are discussed.
