ECE 417 - Science Instruction in Preschool and the Primary Grades[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: EDB 241, EDB 242, ECE 300, ECE 401. Minimum GPA of 2.75. Must be admitted into the Early Childhood program. The nature, scope, and role of science experiences in the learning and development of young children with emphasis given to a constructivist, inquiry-oriented approach consistent with national standards. Discussions, demonstrations, and experiments to be drawn from physical, biological, and earth science.
