MGT 490 - Internship[1-3 credit(s)]
Prerequisites: Two MGT courses and permission of the Internship Coordinator or Department Chair. Provides students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources, labor relations, and/or management; may be arranged at the initiative of the student or the Internship Coordinator; offers a maximum of three semester hours for a 14-hour-per-week internship under the supervision of a professional manager, with fewer semester hours offered for fewer hours of work. A written report in a format agreed to in advance is required. This course is repeatable.
