NUR 505 - Introduction to Demography & Epidemiology: A Nursing Perspective[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: NUR 503 or permission of instructor. Non-Degree Students: In order to register for this courses, non-degree graduate students must receive permission from the School of Nursing. This course focuses on the assessment of population groups with emphasis on epidemiology and demography. Analysis of population-based data for use in practice, program planning, and consultation is emphasized. There is an opportunity to use epidemiology and demography data to plan interventions for populations.
