ALD 545 - Program Evaluation

[3 credit(s)]
Prerequisite: EDB 601, ALD 605, ALD 664, ALD 663, ALD 588, and ALD 510. An elective course for graduate students. This course is designed to introduce students to models of program evaluation. Students will select models and apply them to a program evaluation project. The process of applying theories to a specific evaluation question will allow students to design their own evaluation and supporting data collection tools, analyze data, and create evidence based program modifications. As an outcome of this course, students will produce an evaluation plan which they will implement over the course of the semester.
