ART 370 - American Visual Culture(4 credits)
A consideration of American visual culture from the late 19th through the 20th centuries, focusing on the interrelationship between artists and/or movement in traditional art media with the visual forms of American popular and mass culture. These widely divergent forms of visual culture will be considered within their appropriate social and political contexts. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
