ESE 417 - Assess/Curr/Inst Mild/Mod Dis(4 credits)
Examination of principles, procedures, and instruments of assessment used in the diagnostic process, as well as the development and utilization of appropriate curriculum, materials, and instructional strategies for individuals with mild/moderate educational needs. Explores academic, social, and functional skills development; and instructional accommodations for students with mild/moderate educational needs in the regular education setting. Required for licensure as an Intervention Specialist for Students with Mild/Moderate Educational Needs.
