EST 480 - Std Teaching:Early Childhd Edu(10 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Must be a declared major or be enrolled as a post-baccalaureate student; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50, a 2.75 in all professional education courses, and have completed all prerequisite work. Five full days a week in a university-supervised student-teaching experience, typically in a kindergarten or primary-grade classroom. Practicum (EST 370) or student teaching placement must be in an urban setting. Both may be. Placement may be made in a setting that provides for the inclusion of children with special needs. Required for early childhood teaching license.
