FIN 477 - Real Estate Finance(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): FIN 351; must have at least junior standing and be a declared major in the College of Business to be eligible for this course. A discussion of major instruments of real estate financing, the mortgage market and key financial institutions, governmental involvement in mortgage markets, credit analysis, the methodologies for appraising residential properties, and other relevant topics. The course will emphasize the use of creative financing tools and their payment patterns by analyzing detailed examples.
