FRN 345 - French Civ 1870 to Present

(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): FRN 301 or permission of instructor; must have at least sophomore standing to be eligible for this course. This course is a study of the social, political, economic and cultural history of France from 1870 to the present. Beginning with the end of the 19th century, focus will be on the major historical and cultural events that shaped the image of modern France. This course may fulfill a General Education Requirement.
