IST 410 - Object-Oriented Programming(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): IST 311; must have at least junior standing and be a declared major in the College of Business to be eligible for this course. The concepts of object-oriented methodologies and programming are presented and reinforced through the Java and the C++ programming languages. Language syntax, error handling, object creation/destruction and memory allocation strategies are explored. Java GUI components, event handling and web-based programming are introduced.
