MLR 342 - Staffing Organizations(3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): MLR 340 or permission of department chair; must have at least junior standing and be a declared major in the College of Business to be eligible for this course. Previously “Staffing and Developing the Organization.” Prerequisite: MLR 340 or permission of chair. Provides a detailed examination of organizational staffing. Content includes staffing models, legal compliance, planning, downsizing, job analysis, external and internal recruitment, selection testing, interviewing, and retention. Topics are covered in more depth and detail than in MLR 340.
