ECE 502 - Teaching Methods in Early Childhood Education

(4 credits)

Prerequisite(s): ECE 500, ECE 501, and EDC 501. Study of teaching methods for educational settings that serve children from age three through age eight. Attention is given to strategies for planning, teacher-child interactions, guiding children’s behavior, organizing the learning environment, conducting lessons/activities, care giving, and supporting play, projects, and integrated curriculum. Required for early childhood teaching license.
