ALD 603 - Lifespan Development(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. Provides an overview of the various theories of human development and their implications for counselors. The primary focus is on the contributions of each of the theories to individual development at all levels as well as the applications of these principles and concepts in counseling and education. Course material covers genetic/biological, physical, social/cultural, emotional and intellectual bases of human development.
