CIS 505 - Analytical Methods in CIS

(4 credits)

Prerequisite(s): OSM 500; must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. Methods and concepts necessary for use in computer programming, data structures, relational databases, algorithm analysis, and other areas of computer science. Topics include sets, combinatorics, logic, induction, relations, functions, graphs and trees, recurrence equations, and introduction to proof of program correctness.
