ECE 500 - Foundations of ECE(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): EDC 501; must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. Historical, philosophical, and theoretical introduction to contemporary early childhood education; overview of early childhood models and programs in the United States and other countries; survey of current issues and trends; examination of the role of early childhood models and education in the lives of children between birth and age eight and their families. Required for early childhood teaching license and pre-kindergarten endorsement.
