ECN 582 - International Economics(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal
to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. Prerequisites: Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics. The determinants of comparative advantage and the pattern of international trade; the gains from trade, and the effects of trade restrictions; trade, growth, and development; the balance of payments; the economics of exchange rates; macroeconomics in an open economy. Cross-listed with ECN 782. Candidates for the M.A. in Economics should register for ECN 582.
