EDL 500 - Phonics Assessment/Instruction

Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. Focuses on the nature and role of word recognition in proficient reading and spelling. Provides the background necessary for teaching and assessing phonics, phonemic awareness, and word recognition.
