Prerequisite(s): Restriction for undergraduates in graduate courses and enrolled in the college of Engineering Prerequisites: Graduate standing. Software design of microcontroller-based embedded systems. Topics include microcontroller architecture; assembly programming; C programming; real-time interrupts; external interrupts; program size considerations; input/output issues; analog-to-digital conversion; serial port reception/transmission.
