EEC 561 - Electromagnetic Compatibility

Prerequisite(s): Restriction for undergraduates in graduate courses and enrolled in the college of Engineering Prerequisite: Graduate standing. Methods of electromagnetic coupling between devices, shielding, grounding, frequency spectra of unintentional radiation sources, radiation coupling between distant devices, absorption and reflection losses in nonmagnetic shielding, high-permeability shields, shielding penetration by wires and cables, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations and measurements.
