EEC 644 - Optimal Control Systems

Prerequisite(s): closed to non degree grads, all undergrads and grads who are not in the college of engineering Prerequisite: EEC 510. Introduction to the principles and methods of the optimal control approach: performance measures; dynamic programming; calculus of variations; Pontryagin’s Principle; optimal linear regulators; minimum time and minimum fuel problems; steepest descent; and quasilinearization methods for determining optimal trajectories.
