Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate students, Nondegree graduates ineligible to enroll in 600/700/800 level graduate courses. Study of an important topic in literary or cultural history, criticism, or rhetoric, with special emphasis on methods of analysis and research. May be repeated with change of topic.
