ESE 511 - Classroom Mgmt & Intervention

(4 credits)

Prerequisite(s): ESE 501, ESE 502 or ESE 503; must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. Includes approaches to classroom management that foster productive social interactions and are most compatible with instructional goals. Also examines the characteristics and causes of various severe behavior problems and research-based techniques for intervention. Required for Intervention Specialist licenses in special education.
