Prerequisite(s): Working knowledge of partial differential equations and applied numerical anayslis and graduate standing in civil, environmental, mechanical or chemical engineering or permission of instructor. Prerequisites: Working knowledge of partial differential equations and applied numerical analysis, and graduate standing in civil, environmental, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or permission of instructor. Modeling fate and transport of pollutants in the subsurface environment. Multicomponent, multiphase transport in porous media. Analysis of fate determining mechanisms.
