Prerequisite(s): Restriction for undergraduates in graduate courses and enrolled in the college of Engineering Engineering classification of soils, clay mineralogy, properties of different types of soils, such as strength, permeability, volume-density characteristics; soil contaminant interaction, methods of soil stabilization, methods of soil decontamination, process selection, and site remediation. Soil decontamination design project.
