EVE 564 - Groundwater Hydrology

Prerequisite(s): Restriction for undergraduates in graduate courses and enrolled in the college of Engineering Analysis of the physical properties and the resultant groundwater flow in porous media. Application of the principles of the conservation of mass, energy, and momentum to groundwater flow systems. Includes well hydraulics, well design, aquifer analysis, infiltration, flow in the unsaturated zone, and introduction to groundwater contamination.
