HCA 650 - Long-Term Care(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): HCA 515; must be admitted to the HCA program as a degree-seeking student to be eligible for this course. The unique needs of long-term care facilities provide a new challenge for health administrators. This course covers the history of long-term care facilities, economic and financial aspects of care, different models of service delivery, and alternative care systems. The current federal programs in the U.S. and other Western countries are studied.
