HED 587 - Eating Disorders(3 credits) 3-credit course designed for intermediate or advanced graduate students. Provides an overview of the epidemiology, physiology, chronic disease implications, and current state of preventive and therapeutic interventions for eating disorders in adults and children. Also includes public health policy approaches to combating obesity and facilitating healthy nutrition and physical activity behaviors. Class sessions are combination lecture/discussion.
