HSC 544 - Social Issues in Health Care(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): check for undergrad in grad course; no cer or pb. Examines social issues that influence health and illness through the study of disability and medical rehabilitation. Perspectives of health care practitioner, consumer, regulator, and investor are used to investigate control issues, mutual decision-making, and socioeconomic inequalities.
