IME 610 - Concurrent Engineering

An understanding of the principles of system-level design, product quality requirements, and design for manufacturability and assembly are presented. Addresses testability, reliability, and maintainability issues; explores rapid prototyping and design review techniques. Additional topics include selection of materials, manufacturing processes and functional testing, and life-cycle engineering.
