MCE 670 - Turbomachinery Rotordynamics

Prerequisite(s): closed to non degree grads, all undergrads and grads who are not in the college of engineering Prerequisite: MCE 512. Introduces students to a collection of phenomena and related analysis techniques associated with the dynamics of rotating machinery, e.g., turbines, compressors, pumps, power transmission shafting, etc. Development of adequate, computationally oriented component and system models for the analysis of rotors.
