MLR 640 - Compensation & Benefits(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): MLR 601; must be admitted to the College of Business as a degree-seeking graduate student to be eligible for this course. Detailed study of performance appraisal and compensation systems; includes job analysis, job evaluation, wage surveys, pay structure design, individual and group incentive systems, appraisal methods, and salary and benefits administration; also includes economic, legal, and union influences and role of reward systems as a source of work motivation and perceptions of fairness.
