Prerequisite(s): Restriction for undergraduates in graduate courses and enrolled in the college of Engineering Energy methods approach to matrix structural analysis, including the development of element material stiffness, geometric stiffness, and mass matrices of basic structural elements; emphasis on the displacement method with computer program solutions of truss and frame problems.
