PED 561 - Sport Governance(3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted as a graduate student to be eligible for this course. Governance structures used in amateur and professional sports are explored. Emphasis on the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, and the National Governing Bodies; the National Collegiate Athletic Association; high school leagues; professional team sports leagues; and individual sport organizations.
