PHY 550 - Optics

Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. Geometrical optics with applications to microscopes, cameras, and vision; thick lenses and aberrations; polarization; interference and interferometers; Fresnel and Fraunhofer diffraction; and Rayleigh scattering.
