PHY 570 - Environmental Physics(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal
to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. Study of physical phenomena underlying environmental issues. Topics include energy and entropy laws; electromagnetic radiation; forms of energy, such as fuels, nuclear, and solar; percolation model; and chaos theory as it pertains to population dynamics and climate.
