PSC 527 - Pol of Peaceful World Change(4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal
to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. Possibilities for peaceful and equitable solutions to conflicts created by inequalities in economic development, global resource scarcity, the population explosion, and threats of ecological disaster; mechanisms for resolving these conflicts, including alternatives to the present international system; international law and organization. Emphasizes skills such as policy analysis, oral advocacy, nonviolent communications, negotiation, and arbitration.
