UST 593 - Special Topics in UST(4 credits) Prerequisite(s): Grad course eligibility for undergraduates: credits earned greater than or equal
to 144 and gpa 2.75 OR level is graduate. This course will examine the health of the urban environment in three different ways: ecological health, public health and financial health. At first, the course will examine these topics through a historical lens. This historical perspective will provide a foundation for the second lens, an examination of the current status of the urban environment, Through both we will identify the problems, policies, and solutions targeting the health of the urban environment and their effectiveness.
Topics will be listed in the semester course schedule. May be repeated up to 40 credit hours when topics vary.
