PSY 736 - Student consult in schools(2 credits) Prerequisite(s): You must be a graduate, GPSYS (Psychology Specialist) major to be eligible for this course. Prerequisite: Enrollment in the Psy.S. School Psychology program, or permission of instructor. Comprehensive examination of models and methods of consultation in schools, with emphasis on individual student issues. Emphasis on the application of problem-solving skills, communication skills, behavioral skills, and development of resistance management skills.
