FRN 344 - Foundations of France

Prerequisite: FRN 301 and sophomore standing or permission of instructor. This course is a study of the social, political, economic and cultural history of France from the Roman Invasion to the reign of Louis XIV. Through a chronological study of distinctive historical periods up to the Grand Siecle, students will trace the foundations of France.
