MTH 149 - Mathematics for Business Majors II[4 credit(s)] Prerequisite: a grade of C or better in MTH 148. The topics for this course include probability as it relates to computing empirical probability, conditional probability, and understanding independent events. Other topics include counting topics related to the multiplicative principle, permutations, and combinations. The course also includes material on the techniques of single and multivariate calculus that include methods and applications regarding rates of change, derivatives, anti-derivatives, integration, differential equations, partial derivatives and extrema of functions of several variables.
