Techniques of playing and teaching timpani, snare drum, bass drum, xylophone, cymbals, Afro-Indio-Latin drums, and jazz drumset with an emphasis upon beginning instruction and methods and materials for group lessons. Laboratory class for music education majors as preparation for teaching school instrumental music.
