PED 435 - Physical Education For Students With Disabilties

Prerequisite: Must have at least sophomore standing, and a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher, to be eligible for this course. Study of rationale underlying the provision for physical-education programs for students with disabilities; organization, administration, and conduct of physical education programs for the most prevalent types of educational and medical conditions found in schools and agencies; assists the student to develop placements that adhere to the doctrine of the least-restrictive environment. Includes clinical experiences.
