PSC 241 - Freedom and Authority[3 credit(s)] An examination of the treatment given to the differing concepts of authority and freedom by major political theorists. Specific concern will focus on the conflicts between the two concepts. Theorists considered include Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Madison, Tocqueville, Mill, and Green.
